What things cost

How a turn is priced, where to see it, and what a chapter runs to.

Every answer carries what it cost

Work costs what it costs, and the price is written on the turn that earned it. Long jobs report as they run, so the meter is always in sight rather than arriving at the end.

  • A question

Cents. Asking, arguing about a direction, changing your mind.

  • A chapter

About A$8.50 for three pages: directions, model, sheet and layout.

  • A render

A few cents to a few dollars, depending on how much the picture has to show.

Questions

Pricing

What if a job fails halfway?

You are not charged for it. A run that breaks is absorbed on our side and shows up in our books, not on your balance.

Does a sharper model cost more?

Yes, and it is chosen per step rather than for everything — the sharpest model to argue about a direction, a fast one to answer a roll call.

Where do I see what I have spent?

Settings, Usage. It lists what went where, by day and by collection.
